Refund Policy
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for flight bookings made through Worlds Travel LLC. Because we act as an intermediary between you and the operating airline, refund eligibility depends on both the airline's fare rules and the nature of the fee being refunded.
2. Service fees
The standard $50 USD (or otherwise disclosed) service fee charged by Worlds Travel LLC covers the agent's time spent researching, booking, and supporting your reservation. This fee is earned at the time of booking and is generally non-refundable, including where a booking is later cancelled or changed by you, except where required by law or where Worlds Travel LLC has made a booking error.
3. Airline fares & taxes
Refund eligibility for the airline fare itself is determined by the fare rules attached to your ticket at the time of booking, not by Worlds Travel LLC. Some fares are fully refundable, some are refundable minus an airline penalty, and some are entirely non-refundable. Your agent will disclose the fare's refund conditions before you book.
Government taxes and airport fees are generally refundable when a ticket is cancelled, even on an otherwise non-refundable fare, and will be returned to you where the airline permits it.
4. Cancelling a booking
To cancel a booking, contact our support desk with your confirmation number. We will confirm what portion of the airline fare, taxes, and our service fee is refundable under the applicable fare rules before submitting the cancellation. Any refund due from the airline is processed back to your original payment method once the airline releases it to us.
5. Changes & seat upgrades
Fees paid for a confirmed date change, reroute, or seat upgrade are non-refundable once the change has been processed with the airline, except where the change could not be completed due to an error on our part. If an upgrade or change request cannot be fulfilled by the airline, any amount paid specifically for that request will be refunded.
6. Airline-initiated cancellations
If an airline cancels or significantly changes your flight, you are generally entitled to a refund or rebooking directly from that airline under its own policies and applicable regulations. Worlds Travel LLC will assist you in claiming this refund or rebooking option, and our own service fee for that original booking remains subject to Section 2 above.
7. How to request a refund

- An agent will review your fare rules and confirm what is eligible for refund.
- Approved refunds are submitted to the airline and/or processed back to your original payment method.
8. Processing time
Airline refunds are issued by the airline, not by Worlds Travel LLC, and typically take between 7 and 20 business days to appear on your original payment method, depending on the airline and your card issuer. Any refund of our own service fee, where applicable, is processed within 10 business days of approval.
9. Chargebacks & disputes
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us directly before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — most billing questions can be resolved faster this way. Filing a chargeback for a fee that was clearly disclosed and authorized at the time of booking may delay resolution of your original refund request.
